Look at this long enough, and you'll work it out. I made it some years ago for a good friend of Andy Irvine's. He is left handed, and learned to play on right handed guitars turned over, so the strings were always the "wrong way", but he got used to it and can't change now. Because it is double strung, with octave pairs, the "top" string of the pair would be on the wrong side, so I changed that, added a cutaway on the "right" (left) side, and fitted ships cables. Tuned to C. It’s basically a Falstaff body, and it sounds huge, like a big growly bear.
